Explore Me A Story is an imaginative & creative class designed specifically for the developing needs of children 6 months to 5 years. Classes are themed around a picture book and encourage children to express themselves through music, singing & movement, sensory exploration and interactive story time. We begin welcoming each child with our gathering drum and a fun song, followed by movement to music with instruments, scarves and rhythm sticks, action rhymes and parachute games (all based on the theme of the picture book) to name but a few fun activities in this interactive section of our Explore Me a Story class. This is followed by sensory exploration section, where the children explore various mediums and activities set out for them, including sand, water, seeds, rocks, soil, scented home-made play dough, paint, foam, slime, goop, wheels/cars/ramps...there is ALWAYS something exciting and different that awaits! The final segment of the class is where we come together to share a healthy snack and picture book, rounded off with a celebratory thank you and see you next time with the gathering drum!
